No Apologies

Yeah, I said it!

No apologies coming from this gal - I've read so many apologetic posts (including my own) when people don't update and I feel like it really shouldn't matter. We do what we can and it's a little boring hearing relentless "sorry"s isn't it? 'Yes,' replies the reader.  So since this is all for me and should bring no one else ever in the world any joy - I'm gonna go ahead and post whenever the damn hell I want to... That was rude I'm-... not sorry? (This is hard!)

One Step Sketch at a Time

I have a fair amount of drawings that I want to put up but since there's no rhyme or reason to many of them - I will probably just slap an individual one up every so often because previous posts were trying to be- erm... I'm sure there's a word for what I'm thinking right now but I haven't the foggiest what it is so I'll go with groupy? inclusive? Eh, either way, I was trying to group sketches in a way that made sense but, since I make no sense myself, it would make a lot more sense to not make so much sense. Wait what am I saying?

That escaped me slightly and very unintentionally added to the lack of sense.

However, for this post in particular, forget that - because I've just decided to put the set of 3 drawings I gave my bro-in-law/best bud eva (Eww, shut up Beth)

It's supposedly his biggest enemies at that age but it was a loose connection and I kinda think they would've looked better without the back-people (words?) But Oh Well, stop moping, Beth.
In the last one, I did draw Masked Man but I don't actually have a picture of that but oh well, let's be honest - the background look kinda rubbish but I think at least the last Naruto turned out alright. I did these in a super short time period because it was a present and I wanted to do them well but they didn't turn out fab :/ I said STOP moping, not continue regardless!

The most important thing was that the receiver of said gift really liked it so that made me super happy. Go Anime Fans!

I'm Tired... and Wired

Shhh... What's that Sound? 

It's the sound of my head hitting my desk. Repeatedly.  

I have decided that coffee is a lie that we humans sell ourselves to get us through the day. I have come to this conclusion after many trips to well know coffee shop to do work resulting in a not only more tired but also highly wired Beth. Whilst this may be entertaining for onlookers as I stare worriedly at passers-by wondering why everyone else is so slow, for me it poses a problem. 2 hours after coffee and my head is pounding and I feel sick. Yet, every time I have a afternoon off, I insist on saying "A large soya mocha to have-in, please." (this statement is well rehearsed by now) 

Not only do I feel rubbish but it has not improved my brain functionality in the slightest. And so, I am going on a detox. Swapping water for coffee, apples and peppers for cake. (I hear your snorts of haughty derision - I will do this! Just watch!) I am hoping to see some kind of improvement in skin, temperament and general ability to function but I won't expect too much. 

What was I getting at? Oh Yeah - 

As you may be able to tell, I am slightly disheartened at the moment. I have tried to overcome this by sending my wonderful, wonderful old friend a letter and a drawing because she now resides in Wales and I miss her terribly. (If you're reading this - I miss you!) So, yeah, this whole thing was talking about this one picture that I doodled. It wasn't particularly great but it reminded me of the fun memories of my first MCM Comicon that she took me too.
